Seasons Pelvic Floor and More

Quality therapeutic care for women and children in all seasons of life.

What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that are around your pelvis.  These muscles support and control the functions of your bladder and rectum.  When these muscles become dysfunctional, it can lead to pain, incontinence, constipation, sexual, and social problems.  Pregnancy, postpartum, lifestyle, age, and medical conditions, all change the function of your pelvic floor.  This is where our trained therapists can provide you with an individualized pelvic floor treatment plan.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized, proven approach to treating dysfunction within the pelvic floor muscles and associated tissues, which contributes to common conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, constipation, sexual dysfunction, and many other issues.  Our background, education, and training as therapists are based on correcting musculoskeletal impairments and dysfunction. Our pelvic health training only builds on this foundation enabling us to more effectively treat our patients holistically.  Our treatment sessions are private and on-one one.  However, we welcome partners or a support person if needed.  A session typically includes hands-on treatment techniques, exercises, education, and modalities like biofeedback, electrical stimulation and dilators if needed. Our team is sensitive, attentive, and strives to ease your worries and any concerns you have about seeking treatment.  Contact us today.
